Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management of IIT Bombay offers Fellow program in Management / PhD degree in all areas of management.

Application for FPM / PHD in management accepted twice a year for July session and for January session .

Admission will be given on the basis of PhD Admission Entrance Exam and interview .

Doctoral Programme Structure:

The Ph.D program in SJMSOM consists of two phases –
1) Course work
2) Research Work.

For Non-M.B.A background:
Candidate required to complete a minimum of 52 credits.

For M.B.A background :
Candidate required to complete a minimum of 40 credits.

There are 3 compulsory courses irrespective of the background :

Credit Seminar (4 credits).
Research Methodology course (6 credits)
Communication course (An Institute level course with no credits)

After the successful completion of course work, the phase 2 of research work starts.
