IIT Bombay Guest House Address
Hi I would like to have the information about the guest house accommodation available at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay? The Guest House is tucked in the immaculately delightful grounds of a standout amongst the most esteemed foundations of India, the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB), the IIT Bombay Guest House comprising of the Jalvihar, the Vanvihar and an arrangement of Faculty Apartments, remains a lovely safe house for the Institute's visitors, regardless of whether visitors from the scholarly world, or the Institue's graduated class, or the guardians/wards of its understudies. Only a short walk far from the Main Gate, the essential passage to the establishment, these tranquil living arrangements are flanked by green gardens, walkways, and a lake which is home to an exuberant run of geese. Awesome vistas and stunning dusks on the Powai Lake, which outskirts the Jalvihar Guest House, while Vanvihar, as the name proposes remains tucked away in the midst of trees, finish the photo consummate appeal of the Guest House. Jalvihar Guest House Consistent with its name, with "Jal" which means water, and managing awesome perspectives of the beautiful Powai lake on one side and with yards and a lake on alternate, this very much kept up innovator working with its open-to-sky engineering feels similarly as crisp and welcoming as it was the point at which it was outlined in the 1960s, by the famous modeler Khareghat, of Khareghat Associates. Facilities at Jalvihar: Twofold slept with rooms: 24 Suites: 2 Two feasting corridors PC Kiosk Visitor Safe (Locker) Meeting corridor on ground floor (U Type format with 50 seats ) Workshop corridor on second floor (Class-room sort design with 40 seats ) Vanvihar Guest House A later expansion, this fairly downplayed yet exquisitely composed building sited beside Jalvihar ignores the yards and lake. It was planned by planner Mr. S N Madhiwala and introduced by the Institute's recognized graduated class Mr. Nandan Nilekeni in December 2001, mirrors its name Vanvihar - with the wide canopied trees encompassing its edge. Bordering the Vanvihar is Gulmohar, that houses the Institute's eatery, a bank (Canara Bank) with ATM office. Facilities at Vanvihar: Twofold slept with rooms: 50 PC Kiosk Visitor Safe (Locker) Workshop corridor on ground floor (Class-room sort format with 40 seats ) Contact: Mailing Address Chief Manager, Hospitality Jalvihar Guest House Indian Institute of Technology Bombay Powai, Mumbai – 400 076 Maharashtra, India Contact Number & E-mail Phone : +91-22-2576 8946 Fax : +91-22-2572 3480 Email : managergh[at]iitb.ac.in Last edited by Neelurk; May 7th, 2020 at 03:56 PM. |
