Humanities and Social Sciences Entrance Examination (HSEE) HSEE 2016 Entrance exam is conducted for admission to 5year Integrated Master of Arts (M.A.) programmes.

Development Studies:

It covers such topics as economic development, the role of the state and markets, globalization, inequality, poverty, gender relations, environment, conflict, new social movements, politics and institutions, and so on.

Courses include those in economics, urbanization, gender studies and science and technology studies as well as advanced topics in political philosophy and social theory. Graduates have career opportunities in government, academia, research organizations and industry.

Eligibility Criteria for IIT, Madras:

Candidates interested for admission must appear for HSEE-.

Candidates should have passed for the first time or must be appearing in 2015 in any one of the following qualifying examinations:

The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by a central or state board recognized by the association of Indian universities.

Middle or two-year pre-university examination conducted by a board or university recognized by the association of Indian universities.

HSEE 2016 Exam Cities
