Re: IIT JEE Minimum Qualifying Marks

IITs have specified certain minimum qualifying marks in JEE Advanced for admission to their undergraduate engineering programs. It is referred to as Minimum Qualifying Marks for Ranking (MQMR).

Specified JEE Advanced 2014 Cutoff Score
General Category: 10% in each subject and 35% in aggregate
OBC (NCL): 9% in each subject and 31.5% in aggregate
SC: 5% in each subject and 17.5% in aggregate
ST: 5% in each subject and 17.5% in aggregate
PwD candidates in each category: 5% in each subject and 17.5% in aggregate
Preparatory Course (in cases where eligible SC, ST, and PwD candidates are less than 1.4 times the seats reserved for them): 2.5% in each subject and 8.75% in aggregate
