Indian Institute of Technology IIT Roorkee invites application form for admission in M.Tech programs.

The Application Form will be available from third week of March to second week of April.

M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed their qualifying degree with at least 60% marks or CGPA of 6.00 on a 10 point scale (for SC/ST/PD category candidates, this percentage is 55% or 5.50 CGPA on a 10 point scale).

Candidates with valid GATE score in the respective discipline are eligible to apply.

Aspirants who have completed B.Tech from an IIT with a C.G.P.A. of 8.0 (7.5 for SC/ST) are exempt from GATE qualification.

M.Tech Selection Procedure

Selections to the IIT will be done on the basis of GATE 2017/2016 scores OR a written test and personal interview.

Uploading of call letters for interview/written test/counselling 2nd week of May 2017
Medical examination for persons with different abilities (PD) candidates by the medical board 1st week of June 2017

Counselling for admission 2nd week of June 2017
Last date for withdrawal of admission offered 4th week of June 2017
Display of first upgraded list including waitlisted candidates 4th week of June 2017
