The Institute of Management Technology IMT, Ghaziabad accepts CMAT Scores for admission in PGDM program.

For IMT Ghaziabad their overall cut offs for CAT, XAT, CMAT and GMAT is 90 percentile and above to be called in for the CnPI process.

They give admissions offer according to a merit list drawn which is a combination of performance in CnPI, academic track record, work experience, and overall profile of the candidate.

Selection processes

The institute screens students on the basis of Communication and Personal Interview (CnPI) Process.

In the Communication section, candidates are exposed to a tool called ‘Thematic Exposition’ that tests the students on topics ranging from social, economic and current affairs etc.

This is a written communication test (WCT), where candidates are given a topic ranging from 1-3 lines, on which they have to develop a piece of 250 words within 20 minutes.

This helps the interviewer to understand the Language Proficiency, Coherence, Thought Process, Critical and Logical Thinking skills of the candidates.

Candidates have to go through a Personal Interview with a panel for 15-20 minutes in which candidates are expected to discuss on a wide range of topics which tests their skills of oral communication, analytical and leadership skills, work experience, domain knowledge etc.

Final offer is given to candidates on the basis of overall merit which encompasses campus cut off scores of CAT/XAT/ CMAT or GMAT, performance in CnPI, academic record, work experience, and overall profile of the candidate.
