All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is a self-sufficient training establishment offering advanced education in pharmaceutical. There are seven All India Institutes of Medical Sciences in the nation that are at present running and seven more are proposed to be set up.

AIIMS was set up as an establishment of national significance by the Act of Parliament. The main AIIMS was set up in 1956 in New Delhi.

It was set up with a target to build up certain examples of instructing in undergrad and post-graduate restorative to demonstrate an exclusive requirement of medicinal training in the nation.
