The Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) ordinarily known as Pusa Institute is India's head national Institute for agrarian examination, instruction and augmentation.

Arranged in Delhi, it is financed and controlled by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). The IARI was in charge of the examination prompting the "Green Revolution in India" of the 1970s

The Institute has from the beginning been altering and enhancing its approaches, plans and projects to adequately react to the requirements and chances of the country. Amid the fifties, the headway of logical orders constituted the center program and gave the base to its quick development in the 1960s and 1970s in all its three intelligent ranges, in particular, exploration, instruction and expansion.

The campus is broaden over 500 hectares (5.0 km), 8 km west of New Delhi Railway Station. This was originally outside Delhi, but over the decades the city has grown much beyond the campus. Indian Agricultural Statistics Research Institute is associated with and is located in the campus of the Indian Agricultural Research Institute.
