The ICAR-Indian Institute of Water Management (once in the past Directorate of Water Management) was built up by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research on 12 May 1988. The Institute intends to create enhanced water administration advancements for economical rural generation and scatter it amongst specialists, government functionaries, NGOs and agriculturists.
