Structure andfunction of nucleic acids. Enzymes: structure, nomenclature, mechanism of action; vitamins and mineralsas coenzymes and cofactors. Metabolic pathways: glycolysis, TCA cycle, fatty acid oxidation, triglyceridebiosynthesis. Electron transport chain; ATP formation. Photosynthesis: C-3, C-4 and CAM pathways.
