Indian Police Service Online Application Form
I am planning to give the Indian Police Service (IPS) exam and looking for the Online Application Form. Will you tell me from where I can get the Online Application Form of IPS exam and tell me dates of this exam also provide me complete paper pattern of this exam?

IPS too makes an integral part of the Indian system. IPS comprises of higher level police officials, especially concerned with the maintenance of law and order across the country. IPS Eligibility:- Minimum Educational Qualifications:- You must hold a degree of any of Universities Age Limit:- A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years. Age Relaxation:- (i) upto a maximum of five years if a candidate belongs to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe. (ii) upto a maximum of three years in the case of candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes who are eligible to avail of reservation applicable to such candidates. IPS 2016 Date:- CIVIL SERVICES (PRELIMINARY) EXAM. 2016:- 07.08.2016 (SUNDAY). CIVIL SERVICES (MAIN) EXAM, 2016:- 03.12.2016 (SATURDAY) DURATION OF EXAM:- 5 DAYS You can apply online for the IPS Exam as and when the link was activated in the UPSC website. UPSC website looks like Paper pattern: UPSC Prelim Exam Syllabus Part A PAPERS OF OBJECTIVE TYPE Paper I - (200 marks) Duration : Two hours • Current events of national and international importance • History of India and Indian National Movement • Indian and World Geography-Physical, Social, Economic Geography of India and the World. • Indian Polity and Governance – Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights Issues, etc. • Economic and Social Development-Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector Initiatives, etc. • General issues on Environmental ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change - that do not require subject specialization • General Science. Paper II-(200 marks) Duration : Two hours • Comprehension • Interpersonal skills including communication skills; • Logical reasoning and analytical ability • Decision making and problem solving • General mental ability • Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude, etc.) (Class X level), Data interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc. — Class X level) • English Language Comprehension skills (Class X level). Part B PAPERS OF DESCRIPTIVE TYPE Paper III : English (200 marks / 3 hours duration) :- This will be a qualifying test only of Matriculation or equivalent standard. The aim of the paper is to test the candidate’s ability to read and understand serious discursive prose, and to express his ideas clearly and correctly, in English.
