D Ed or Diploma in Education is a two-year full time diploma programme. To be eligible, one has to pass 10+2 level of examination, from any recognized Board.

Admissions to this programme in most of the states of India are done under the guidelines of State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) of each state.

After pursuing D. Ed course, one can become teacher in any government or private school.

Maharashtra D. Ed CET

Maharashtra D Ed CET (Common Entrance Test) is conducted by Maharashtra State Council of Examinations for the enrollment of students into Diploma in Education course.

Various government aided & unaided as well as many private institutes accept scores of entrance tests conducted by it. Students qualified in the Maharashtra D Ed CET are called for counseling for admission in D Ed.

Eligibility
One should be a bona fide residence of Maharashtra and must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or Council.

Examination Pattern
• Every question carries one mark.
• All the questions are objective type and are compulsory.
• The questions are asked to test the knowledge, understanding and application of the subjects.
