University Institute of Technology is the engineering department of Burdwan University, Burdwan, West Bengal, India.

It represents the Faculty of Engineering that was at National Institute of Technology, Durgapur since its inception.

Annual intake is 360 students through West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination for B.E and GATE score is considered for admission into its M.E course.

UIT has joint research programmes with Jadavpur University, BESU Shibpur, CMERI Durgapur, and CSIO laboratories.
