Intelligence Bureau (IB) generally announces the recruitment for the Assistant Central Intelligence Officers (ACIO) every year in the months of March/April. It conducts recruitment exam to recruit the eligible candidate

Pay scale
Rs.9300-34,800 +Grade Pay of Rs.4200

Scheme of Exam:


Objective Test---

-There will be a 200 minutes question paper

-It consist objective type multiple choice based questions

-Questions are generally on the following main topics:


General Awareness

General Knowledge

English Language

Reasoning and Mathematical Aptitude


Descriptive Test—

The Descriptive Test consists of questions based on Essay and Letter Writing on the given topics.


Eligibility for the IB ACIO Exam

Must have passed graduation from any stream
Your age must not exceed 27 years
