Details of the admission to the course-

Eligibility

For B. Tech Programmes: Students must have passed the 10+2 with at least 45% aggregate and minimum 50% marks or equivalent in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the four optional courses (Biology, Bio-technology, Chemistry, Computer Science) from a recognized Central/State Board /University Examination in India or in any foreign country recognized as equivalent to 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Application

The application procedure for admission consists of two steps:


Written Test

The applicants are required to appear in one of the National level Engineering admission tests to get the admission to the courses at the university , such as JEE, BITSAT, JKLU-EET (JK Lakshmipat University-Engineering Entrance Test) or any other equivalent state level engineering entrance examination held in 2014. Foreign Nationals/Persons of Indian Origin/Non-Resident Indian candidates can be considered for admission on the basis of their marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination only while giving the admissions (taken not earlier than July 2012).

Application Form

Prospective candidates are required to fill in the application form of the Institute of Engineering and Technology of the University to get the admissions. To obtain the application form and prospectus, applicants should send a demand draft for Rs. 1,000/ at the university.
