IP University CPI To Percentage
I am a students in the IP University and want to know that what is the relative to the CPI to Percentage and how the percentage are considered according to the CPI for the division Well the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University is a well known professional university situated in Delhi. Hey the Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) is a number indicative of your cumulative performance upto a certain point of time. A student has one overall CPI which is based on the percentage of each SEM or year. It is also called GPA (Grade Point Average) or CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) in some institutes IP University CPI To Percentage Candidates shall be placed in Divisions as below according to the CPI To Percentage 2nd Division: Applicant obtaining a Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) at the end of the program of 50 and above but below 60 shall be placed in Second Division. 1st Division: A candidate obtaining a CPI at the end of the program of 60 and above but below 75 shall be placed in the First Division. 1st Division with Distinction: Applicant obtaining a CPI at the end of program of 75 and above will be placed in First Division and of Distinction if the applicant has cleared all the courses for which he has earned credits, in his/her first attempt. Applicant getting a CPI of 90 and above will be deemed to have passed the program with exemplary performance provided he / she passed all the courses for which he has earned the credits, in the first attempt. Such candidate will be awarded a special University Certificate to this effect. Index For Performance The overall performance of a candidate will be determined at any stage as follows: Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) = N Cn Mn / NCn The Cn will be the number of credit earned for the course n in an academic year and Mn is the marks obtained by the student for the course n. The N is the total number of courses in which the performance will be measured. The courses will have maximum marks of 100 irrespective of the number of credits assigned to the courses. For the CPI, those courses, in which the student has cleared getting not less than 50% marks and for which credits are earned, shall be taken into account. Applicants CPI will be calculated on the basis of the minimum credits acceptable for each program taking his / her performance in the subjects, in which applicant has got highest marks. In the mark sheet, the highest credits got by the candidate will also be shown.
