IPU CET 2016, Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test, was conducted on May 8, 2016 (2 pm-4.30 pm) by Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) for offering admissions to undergraduate engineering programmes.

Eligibility Criteria:

Each applicant must have passed class 12th from a recognized board.
A minimum aggregate of 55% is a prerequisite, while the applicant is required to have passed all subjects (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) separately.
Applicants must have passed English subject (core/elective or functional).
They should be 21 years old as on the exam date.

IPU CET 2016 Exam Pattern:

The exam will be conducted in English
Exam duration will be 2:30 hours
IPU CET 2016 will comprise a total of 150 questions
The applicant secures 4 marks for every right answer while he/she will lose 1 mark for every wrong answer
The exam will be conducted in offline mode (OMR).
Only black ball pen can be used for marking and writing the exam
