PNB MetLife Insurance Co. Ltd (PNB MetLife) is an associate of Punjab National Bank, wherein MetLife International Holdings Inc and Punjab National Bank are the shareholders to the extent of 26% and 30% respectively.

Insurance Regulator IRDA has approved the 30 per cent stake purchase by Punjab National Bank (PNB) in MetLife India Insurance Company.
