Can you tell me about the Admissions requirements for Undergraduate Program - Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) offered by ISAT (Iloilo Science and Technology University)?

The Undergraduate Program - Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) offered by ISAT (Iloilo Science and Technology University) is a four year Teacher Education Course which aims to respond to the demands for quality and competent Elementary Teachers in the region.


One is expected to possess necessary competence and appropriate methodologies to be used in the teaching and learning process and especially on the apt use of evaluation instruments. It also helps to develop a value and civic-oriented graduates.


Admissions Requirements

One shall undergo physical, mental and other relevant screening as prerequisite for admission. The Dean of the College shall have full responsibility to screen and select new students to be admitted to the curriculum.


One must submit the following:

Form 138 (card or transcript of records) with an average grade of 85 or 2.0.

Certification of good moral character signed by the school head or his authorized representative (for incoming 1st year); Honorable dismissal or Transfer Credentials (for transferees)

Medical Laboratory result (X-ray, urine, stool)

Qualified in the entrance exam, and teaching aptitude test.

Articulate in both written and oral exam as shown in the interview score conducted by the committee.
