I am planning to give the International Students Admission Test (ISAT) and for this I the ISAT Entrance Exam last year question papers. Will you please tell me from where I can download for free the ISAT exam last year and sample papers for doing preparation?

The International Student Admissions Test (ISAT) is 3 hour multiple mandatory test for entry into specified courses offered by some Australian educational institutions to international students.

It is independently developed by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER). \ ISAT is administered as a computer-based test through Prometric Inc. centres around the world.

The test is presented in units, with stimulus material followed by questions. There are 100 questions with 4 or 5 answers from which the candidate is asked to choose the most appropriate response.

There is only one correct answer, with no marks deducted for incorrect answers. It is not a test of subject specific knowledge. Rather, it aims to assess 'critical' and 'quantitative' reasoning skills.

'Critical Reasoning' (CR) - involves comprehending and analysing information; understanding, applying and extending ideas; drawing appropriate conclusions; and evaluating arguments. The questions use material from the humanities and social sciences.

'Quantitative Reasoning' (QR) - involves analysis and application of information; drawing conclusions and making decisions; and solving problems. The questions use material from the mathematics and sciences.
