The Indian Statistical Institute was established by Professor P.C. Mahalanobis in Kolkata on seventeenth December, 1931. The foundation picked up the status of an Institution of National Importance by a demonstration of the Indian Parliament in 1959.

The Delhi Center of the Indian Statistical Institute was begun in 1974, and moved to its present campus in 1975. Some of India's driving analysts, mathematicians, and financial analysts have been on its workforce, and its preparation programs appreciate overall notoriety.

Dates: August 22 - 24, 2017(1st Module), September 19 - 22, 2017(2nd Module), October 10 - 13, 2017(3rd Module), November 15 - 17, 2017 (fourth Module).

Least checks (%) to be acquired in the examination: All Modules (70%), Project (70%) and Presentation (70%).

Members Profile: (i) Bachelor's degree with Mathematics/Statistics/Physics or BE/B Tech degree or MBA, and (ii)Six Sigma green belt with 2 years of experience.
