Indian Space research Organisation (ISRO) is the space agency of the Indian government. It was formed in the year 1969. It’s headquarter is located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. It is managed by the Department of Space, which reports to the Prime Minister of India. As you have asked about the ISRO Centre, Master Control Facility (MCF) located in Bhopal, I am giving you information about it, check below for the details Master Control Facility (MCF) monitors and controls all the Geostationary/ Geosynchronous satellites of ISRO, namely, INSAT, GSAT, Kalpana and IRNSS series of satellites It is responsible for Orbit Raising of satellites, In-orbit payload testing, and On-orbit operations all through the life of these satellites. It activities include round-the-clock Tracking, Telemetry & Commanding (TT&C) operations, and special operations like Eclipse management, Station-keeping manoeuvres and recovery actions in case of contingencies. It interacts with User Agencies for effective utilisation of the satellite payloads and to minimise the service disturbances during special operations. MCF currently controls INSAT-3C, 3A, 4A, 4B, 4CR, INSAT-3D, Kalpana-1, GSAT-7, GSAT-8, GSAT-10, GSAT-12, GSAT-14, GSAT-16, IRNSS-1A, 1B and 1C. MCF-Bhopal Facility is currently managing round-the-clock operations of two satellites in close coordination with MCF-Hassan. The Facility is configured with a 1 m Full Motion Antenna and four 7.2 m Limited Motion Antenna, a Satellite Control Centre and a Power Complex.
