Indo Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF) How to Join in ITBPF Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force recruits young applicants at the four levels of Assistant Commandant Sub-Inspector Head Constable Constable Eligibility : Matriculation or 10th Class pass from a recognized Board/University. Age Limit : 18 to 23 Relaxation in age For members of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes – 5 years Ex-servicemen and demobilized personnel of Armed Forces with not less than 6 months in the Armed Forces - Service rendered in Army, Navy and Air Force plus 03 years Meritorious Sports persons – Up to 5 years. (10 years for SCs/STs and 8 years for OBCs) Method of Selection : Selection process of the constables in ITBPF consists of : Height Bar Test The applicants will be put through the Height Bar test and qualified candidates will be sent for 5 Km race. Race (PET) After height bar test, the candidates will be subjected to 5 kilometers race to be completed within 24 minutes. Physical Standard Test (PST) Applicants, who are qualified in race, will be screened first for height, chest and weight measurements. Documentation The applicants who qualify in the Physical standard Test will be required to produce all relevant documents, in original only Biometric verification Finger impression in respect of registered candidates will be captured immediately and will be verified on subsequent recruitment tests to avoid impersonation Written Test (100 Marks) (i) The applicants who qualify the Documentation stage will be required to appear in a written test. (ii) NON-OMR based multiple choice question paper will be set (Bilinguali.e. in Hindi, English) to assess the general awareness/General Knowledge, Knowledge of Elementary Mathematics, analytical aptitude and ability to observe and distinguish patterns and to test basic knowledge of applicants in English/ Hindi. The question paper will carry 100 objective types multiple choice questions and would carry 100 marks. (iii) Minimum qualifying marks for General and Ex-Servicemen- 35% and for SC/ ST and OBC category applicants is 33% Selection of Sub-Inspectors in ITBP is conducted in two parts Part-I Consists of a written tests in General Intelligence, Reasoning, General Awareness, Numerical Ability and English language Part-II Has the Physical Efficiency Test, Medical examination and Interview Last edited by Neelurk; June 23rd, 2020 at 11:04 AM. |
