ITM University is a multidisciplinary university based in Gwalior, India.

ITM University Gwalior is fully Government Recognised and Approved University. ITM University Gwalior is a state university under 2(f) of University Grants Commission UGC Act.

As per law, Universities do not require AICTE approval. Only institutions which are affiliated to Universities require approval. As ITM University is a University established by a State Act ,it does not require AICTE approval.

It has been notified in the Gazette (Extra-ordinary) of the state Govt. On 04th May, 2011 and scheduled in the Madhya Pradesh Niji Vishwavidyalaya (Sthapana Avam Sanchalan) Adhiniyam, 2007 (No. 17 of 2007).

The University is approved by the Council of Architecture (CA), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), Indian Nursing Council (INC), BAR Council of India and National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
