Hello sir I want to know about the Kisan Mela, celebration on the day of “National Science Day” organize by IVRI and want to know that did they organize the Debate Competition at University of Veterinary Sciences, Mathura please provide the info regarding the same ?? As per your demand here is the details of the Kisan Mela, celebration on the day of “National Science Day” organize by IVRI Kisan Mela, to celebrate the “National Science Day” under the theme of “Fostering Scientific Temper” was organize by IVRI, Izatnagar on 28.02.2014 to disseminate a variety of technologies and package of practices related to stock health, breeding, feeding, products processing amongst farmers and entrepreneurs. The Kisan Mela was installed by Director, IVRI, Izatnagar, Dr. Raj Kumar Singh. A total of 1685 farmers from Uttar Pradesh, Uttrakhand and neighbouring states were participated with their great zest in Kisan Mela. A total of 10 animal competitions (buffalo, crossbred cow and indigenous cow), Were conducted wherein 57 animals were participated. Sixty two exhibition stalls were put up by a variety of ICAR institutes (CARI, Izatnagar; CSWRI, CIRG, Directorate of cold Water Fisheries, VPKAS, CIRB, NRC on Equine) Commercial Houses Of Pharmaceuticals Fertilizers Seed Agricultural implements Pesticides Gramudhyog Automobile companies Krishi Vigyan Kendra of SVBPUA&T Modipuram State Banks of India Bank of Baroda NABARD ICICI Insurances To mark the National Science Day, a " Regional Veterinary Science Students Debate Competition" was also prearranged wherein the students from GB Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantangar; Narendra Dev University of Agriculture & Technology, Faizabad; Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya University of Veterinary Sciences, Mathura and IVRI, Izatnagar were participated actively. Besides these, milk product making competitions and silage Chaff cutting Competition among farmers were held throughout the day. Other main attraction of the mela was the "Kisan Goshthi", wherein, livestock owners and farmers took vigorous part and sought modified solutions to their specific harms pertaining to the livestock, agriculture and allied areas.
