Jam iitb
Does this year JAM Entrance Exam conducts by IIT Bombay? I have completed B.Tech Degree a private Engineering College. Now I want to do M.SC Course from an IIT campus. So I have to appear in JAM Exam, so tell me what is the process to apply for this Entrance Exam? Also provide me cut off of JAM for separate IIT. JAM (Joint Admission Test) is a national level entrance test managed by IITs (Indian Institute of Technology) on rotation basis for admissions in M.Sc, Joint M.SC-Ph.D, and other post-bachelors degree programmes offered by IITs and IISc Eligibllity : Candidates must have a graduation degree from any recognized university or college. Students must have obtained at least 55% marks for general/OBC-NCL candidates and 50% marks for SC/ST & PwD candidates in the qualifying examination. Key dates Commencement of Online Registration and Application Form 2nd September 2016 Last Date for Registration and Uploading of Documents on the Website 13th October 2016 (extended) Last Date for Payment of Application Fee through Online process 13th October 2016 Admit Card Download Date 10th January 2017 JAM 2017 Entrance Exam 12th February 2017 Result announcement 27th March 2017 Submission of Application Form for Admission 12th April to 25th April 2017 Last Date for receipt of request for change of category/rectification of defective documents at IIT Delhi 10 May 2017 Declaration of First Admission List 2nd June 2017 Declaration of Second Admission List 20th June 2017 Declaration of Third and Final Admission List 3rd July 2017 Admission Closed on 7th July 2017 Fee: Students can pay the application form fee through online mode only. The application fee is Rs. 750/- (for one paper) or 1050/- (for two paper) for Female (all cat.)/SC/ST/PwD. For Gen. and OBC Students, the fee is Rs. 1500/- (for one paper) or 2100/- (for two paper). Exam Pattern The IIT JAM exam pattern is listed below. Type: Objective type test Mode: Computer Based Test No. of questions: 60 divided in three section viz. A, B, C Marking Scheme: 60 questions carrying 100 marks Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking in Section B and Section C.
