I am looking to take the admission to the courses of the engineering at the Jamia Milia Islamia can you please help me in this?

The Faculty of Engineering and Technology at the Jamia Milia Islamia was established in the year 1985 with the objective so as to provide outstanding engineering education that is completely directed at enriching the quality of life in an emerging knowledge-based society at the university.

The mission of the Faculty at the university is to produce the competent engineers, conduct internationally recognized research, and provide quality professional and community services to the society as a whole.

Here are the details of the admission to the engineering courses at the University of the Jamia Milia Islamia-

To get the admission to the university you need to clear the entrance test of the university called the Jamia Milia Islamia Engineering Entrance Examination - JMI EEE 2014.

JMI EEE 2014 Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates applying for JMI EEE 2014 must have completed10+2 from a recognized board with a minimum of an aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Maths in total.

The age of the candidate must be between 17 and 23 years in order to get eligible to apply for B.Tech programs in the university.

JMI EEE 2014 Selection Procedure:

Candidates will be selected to the engineering course at the university is on the basis of following major criteria:
85% weight age to the written test
15% weight age to the interview

JMI EEE 2014 Paper Pattern:

Total questions- 170 objective type questions
Physics- 55 marks
Chemistry- 55 marks
Maths- 60 marks
Total duration- 180 minutes

Start sale of prospectus- March 26, 2014
Online Application last date: April 21, 2014
OMR Application Form Last Date: April 30, 2014
Test Date: June 14, 2014
Date of Result: June 24, 2014
Admissions: July 7, 2014

JMI EEE 2014 Result-

The result of JMI EEE 2014will be published in the official website of the university. The selected candidates will be called for interview by the university to grant them the selection. The final results after the interview will be published on June 24, 2014.

JMI EEE 2014 Counselling:

Counselling of students for admissions in B.Tech courses in the university will be held tentatively in August, 2014.
