I want to know the reservation policy in Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies JBIMS of MBA program?

Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies JBIMS offers two years Masters in Management Studies (MMS) programme equivalent to MBA program.

JBIMS Mumbai has an intake of 120 seats for MMS

JBIMS Mumbai Seats Distribution and Reservation

Following is the detailed distribution of JBIMS Mumbai Seats Distribution (120 in total):

Seats reserved for all reserved category students
only from State of Maharashtra
(as per declared by Government of Maharashtra) = 60

Seats reserved for Muslim Candidates
from Maharashtra (5%) = 3

Seats open for both eligible Maharashtra State and outside Maharashtra State candidates (reserved category students from States other than Maharashtra
will also be covered under this) = 57

In addition to this, de-reservation policy (conversion of “reserved seats” into “open for all”) will be applicable in dearth of suitable candidates for seats reserved.

Thus, whether you are a general category student from Maharashtra, general category or reserved category student from outside Maharashtra – you will be considered for the 57 seats.

Eligibility-

Full time Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities

OR

Passed Graduate Examination in Industrial Engineering, Mumbai and who have subsequently qualified in the GATE examination conducted by IITs

AND

Have a minimum of 2 years of experience (supervisor or executive level).

The experience should be full time experience and NOT include internships, projects, etc.
