JEE Main How Many Marks Paper

I want to do engineering degree and for this decided to apply for the JEE (Joint Entrance Examination). Will you tell details about the JEE Main How Many Marks Paper along with eligibility to apply for this exam also provide important dates t o apply for this exam?

JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) is a two tier examination (Main & Advanced) regulated by CBSE Board.

You can get admissions in B.Tech/B.Arch programmes offered by NITs, IIITs and other engineering institutions

JEE Main marks:

The JEE Main 2017 question paper is expected to consist of 90 questions. The maximum marks are 360.
There are three parts in the question paper A, B, C consisting of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics having 30 questions in each part of equal weightage.
Each question is allotted 4 (four) marks for correct response.
Candidates will be awarded marks as stated for correct response. 1/4 (one fourth) marks will be deducted for indicating incorrect response of each question

Eligibility:

Candidates appearing/passed 12th or equivalent exam in 2015 or 2016 with PCM are eligible to apply.
Candidates who have passed 12th or equivalent exam in 2014 are not eligible to apply.
Number of Subjects in 12th: Aspirants should have minimum five subjects in 12th/qualifying examination.
Number of Attempts: Candidate can attempt JEE Main exam three times only.
Diploma (3 years) holders are also eligible to apply.

Official notification release 18th November 2016
Application form release 1st December 2016
Application Form Close 16th January, 2017 (Extended)
Image Correction Facility 10th December 2016 (onwards)
Last date of fee payment 17th January, 2017 (Extended)
Application form correction window one week in the second half of January, 2017
Release of Admit Card first week of March, 2017
JEE Main offline exam (Pen and Paper Based exam) 2nd April 2017
JEE Main online exam (Computer Based exam) 8th & 9th April, 2017
Display of answer key & OMR sheet 18th – 20th April 2017
Result declaration (paper 1) 27th April 2017
Declaration of All India Rank for JEE Main (Paper 2) 27th May 2017
Counselling schedule first week of July, 2017
