JEE Main 2016, conducted by CBSE, is the first stage examination for admissions to prestigious IITs (Indian Institute of Technology) and ISM (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad. The entrance exam in pen and Paper mode was held on April 3, 2016 (Offline), while the CBT mode was conducted on April 9 and 10.

JEE Main Exam Pattern:

Paper 1:

JEE Main question paper of paper 1 comprises questions from Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics, and all questions have equal weightage.

One has to mark only one response for each question out of four responses given.
One-fourth mark is deducted for indicating incorrect response of each question.

Paper 2 will consist of following three parts-
Part I - Mathematics
Part II - Aptitude Test
Part III - Drawing Test

The exam will be of 3 hours duration.
