Eligibility Criteria for Joint Entrance Examination (JEXPO)

Eligible candidate must be an Indian citizen who has passed Madhyamik or
HSC examination.

Required qualification must be obtained either from West Bengal Board of
Secondary Education or from other equivalent Board/Council.

Such candidates must have studied Mathematics, Physical Science and
English as subjects under HSC and their age must be below 21 years.

SC/ST students can expect 3 year age relaxation in the case.

Exam Pattern for Joint Entrance Examination (JEXPO)

Joint Entrance Examination (JEXPO) is conducted in objective mode.
Questions will be asked from subjects of Mathematics, Physics and
Chemistry.

Total time allotted for the test is 4 hours (Mathematics — 2 hours, Physics &
Chemistry – 2 hours).

in total the test carries 200 marks. Maximum marks allotted for the section
of Mathematics is 100 and that for Physics and Chemistry is 100.
