Syllabus

The level of questions at JIPMER Entrance Exam 2017 will be based on the syllabus as prescribed by State Board Hr. Sec. and CBSE for XI & XII Standards.

Syllabi for Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology shall be as specified by CBSE for class 11th and 12th under 10+2 scheme for students passing class 12th in 2017.

Exam Pattern

The JIPMER MBBS Entrance Exams will be a computer based test.

Subject Marks Allocated Out of 200

Physics 60

Chemistry 60

Biology 60

English 20

Total 200

The paper will be for 2 and half hours or 150 minutes duration.

The exam is conducted in English

It shall carry 200 multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

Each correct answer will be awarded one mark.

There is no negative marking.

Physics – 60 marks, Chemistry – 60 marks, Biology – 60 marks and English – 20 marks

The response of the candidate for a question(s), on click of “submit button” before closing of examination shall be considered as the response chosen by the candidate.
