Eligibility :

Nationality:

Indian Nationals Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) are also eligible to apply

Qualification:

Candidates Must have passed / appeared for HSC (10+2) Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and English / Equivalent From recognized University .

Age Limit :

Candidates must have attained 17 years of age

Application Fee

General (UR)/OBC/NRI/OCI: INR 1000/- plus + transaction charges as applicable

SC/ST/OPH: INR 800/- plus transaction charges as applicable

Examination Pattern :

The JIPMER Exam will be comprise in one paper only included 200 multiple choice type questions.

The paper will be consists of questions from subjects as
Chemistry,
Physics,
Biology/Biochemistry,
English & Comprehension,
Logic and Quantitative Reasoning

The question paper will be available in English language only.

Each correct answer will be rewarded with one mark only and there is no negative marking for wrong answers.

The distribution of the questions will be made as per the following criteria:

Chemistry – 60 Questions

Physics – 60 Questions

Biology or Biochemistry – 60 Questions

English & Comprehension – 10 Questions

Logic & Quantitative Reasoning – 10 Questions
