Centre for European Studies – (JNU) Jawaharlal Nehru University is a multi-disciplinary department which aims to promote teaching, research, and outreach activities that improve the understanding of Europe and Indo-European affairs.

Eligibility for Phd admission
Applicants with Master's Degree in Political Science, History, Economics, International Relations and Area Studies with at least 50% marks; or Master's Degree in Humanities and other Social Sciences with at least 60% marks or Master's Degree in Natural Sciences with at least 65% marks are eligible to apply for the entrance examination. The admission to the program takes place once a year in the Monsoon Semester.
