How many MNC Companies will take part in this year Campus Placement for M.Tech students of Jawaharlal Nehru University? I am in final semester of M.Tech Program at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and want to appear in the Campus Placement. So I want to know about last year record of placement. Pls provide me application form to apply to appear in the Placement.

The Placement rules as conceived by Placement Cell of Jawaharlal Nehru University in Delhi for M. Tech Students are as follows:

Placement Rule

1. After onsite registration in JNU placement cell (JNUPC) one can see or receive the notifications/information about the placement and internships in any institution.

2. JNU students can send their CV with photograph on the email of JNUPC

3. JNUPC will allow only registered student of JNU to sit in the programme coordinated by JNUPC.

4. If one got selected in any of the institutions coming under JNUPC, can't sit in interviews of any other institutions in that session.

5. All the information will be sent on the email of the registered students.

6. The JNUPC will take responsibility for the placement and internship of its student in reputed institution, and will intervene in case the institution changes its policy from the time of recruitment of the student.

7. JNUPC will not be responsible for absence in any test, interview or any selection process which a student has to attend as part of an institution's recruiting procedure.

8. JNUPC will be responsible for the students registered under its website.

9. One who is taking direct admission in MA in SLL&Cs can mail their CV in 1st semester and the students coming in BA 2nd year can send their CV in 3rd semester.

For M. Tech Students

1. The policies will remain same except, interviews for M. Tech students can be conducted on any day suitable for the institution and the student of that stream.
2. The placement for M. Tech student is open throughout the year.

General Advice

1. One must carry a complete file with a few copies of resume uploaded on JNUPC, original certificates (if possible) and Xerox copies of certificates while appearing for interviews.
2. One must carry their valid I-card during interviews/screening test.
3. The date/time/venue of the interview may change, at times. One must keep themselves well informed by visiting JNUPC website.
