IIT Joint Admission Test for M.Sc JAM Exam is a national level examination organized by the IITs and IISc on rotation basis for admission in M.Sc (Four Semesters), Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc.-M.Tech., M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual Degree & other courses. IIT-JAM 2018 will be conducted by IIT, Bombay. IIT JAM Eligibility Criteria Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in any stream from any recognized college or university. Students must have obtained minimum 55% marks for general & OBC-NCL candidates and 50% marks for SC, ST and PwD categories. Students appearing in the final year of the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply. Indian & Foreign candidates are eligible to apply. IIT JAM 2018 Tentative Date Application form release 1st week of September 2017 Last date to submit the online application & uploading documents 2nd week of October 2017 Last date for application fee payment 2nd week of October 2017 Admit card available 2nd week of January 2018 Mock test link February 2018 Exam date 2nd week of February 2018 Result announcement Last week of March 2018 Submission of admission form 2nd to 4th week of April 2018 Last Date for receipt of request for change of category 2nd week of May 2018 First admission list released 1st week of June 2018 Second admission list released 3rd week of June 2018 Third & final admission list release 1st week of July 2018 Closure of Admissions through JAM 2018 2nd week of July 2018 IIT JAM Exam Pattern The exam will be organized through online mode (Computer Based Test). Duration: The total exam duration will be three hours. Language: Question paper will be asked in English language only. No. of Question: There will be total 60 questions asked in the examination. Sections: The exam has been divided into three sections. Total Marks: The question paper will have 60 questions of 100 marks. Negative Marking: There is no negative marking for Section B & C.
