West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Eligibility Criteria:

For all the Courses except B. Arch, B. Pharmacy and Marine Engineering
Must pass H.S. (10+2) or its equivalent examination
With minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together (40% for SC/ST candidates).
and with at least 30% marks in English (for all category of candidates)
With individual pass in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and Vernacular/any other fifth subject.

For Marine Engineering course
For all Candidates
Must pass H.S. (10+2) or its equivalent examination
With minimum of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together.
and with at least 50% marks in English either in 10th or 12th standard.
With individual pass in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and Vernacular/any other fifth subject.
For B. Pharmacy Courses

For Institutes other than Jadavpur University
Must pass H.S. (10+2) or its equivalent examination
With minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology taken together (40% for SC/ST candidates)..
and with at least 30% marks in English (for all category of candidates)
With individual pass in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, English and Vernacular/any other fifth subject.

For Jadavpur University
Must pass H.S. (10+2) or its equivalent examination
With minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together (40% for SC/ST candidates).
and with at least 30% marks in English (for all category of candidates)
With individual pass in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and Vernacular/any other fifth subject.

For B. Arch course
Must pass H.S. (10+2) or its equivalent examination
With minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together (40% for SC/ST candidates).
and with at least 30% marks in English (for all category of candidates)
With individual pass in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and Vernacular/any other fifth subject.
Must qualify NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture)

Age Limit:
Not less than 17 Years.
There is no Upper Age Limit.
Marine Engineering Courses for which the upper age limit is 25 years
