Eligibility Criteria for MBBS

Academic Qualification:

A candidate to open category must have passed in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks, taken together in physics, Chemistry and Biology at the qualifying examination.

In respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in qualifying examination be 40%.

Age Limits:

The candidate must have attained the age of 17 years.


Exam Pattern

The KAIET consists of 1 common question paper in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology(Botany & Zoology) consisting of Multiple choice questions (MCQs) as given below:

Time Allowed: 3 Hrs


There will be no choice among the questions.

The candidate is expected to attempt all the 200 questions. Out of four circles provided for selection of answers against a question, the candidate should fill up one circle only. Each correct answer will be given one mark.

There shall be no negative marking for wrong answer
