I am a student of Kakatiya University BA 2nd year and have appeared for its annual examination. So want to ask when the university will announce the result of the exam and what important information I need to put while downloading the result.

The Establishment of Kakatiya University on August 19, 1976 meant the satisfaction of a since quite a while ago appreciated yearning of the general population of Telangana. Rise of this University was in truth a memorable occasion as in it proclaimed another period in the domain of advanced education taking into account the requirements of North Telangana.

The University started with just four Departments, viz. Telugu, English, Chemistry and Mathematics in 1968, Departments of Physics, Botany, Zoology, Commerce and Public Administration were included later. The Department of Economics was begun in 1974. B. Drug store course which was begun by OU in 1974 was moved to KU in 1975

Department of English

Begun in 1967, it has a solid balance laid by researchers from the parent division of OU. M.A., M.Phil. courses and Ph.D. program in English are offered by the division. The specializations of the staff incorporate Indian Writing in English, English Language Teaching, British Literature, Translation Studies, Women Studies, Literary Criticism, Comparative Literature and American Literature.
