The Karnataka Vikas Grameena Bank (Hindi: कर्नाटक विकास ग्रामीण बैंक)KVGB), a Regional Rural Bank, was constituted on 12 September 2005 after amalgamation of four Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) in particular Malaprabha Grameena Bank, Bijapur Grameena Bank, Varada Grameena Bank and Netravathi Grameena Banks according to suggestions of the Narasimhan Committee under Government of India Notification dated 12 September 2005.
