Eligibility criteria

In between class 1st to class 12th applicant must have studies, for at least 7
years, in Government or Government recognized institution in Karnataka.

If an applicant has made more than one attempt for any year, it will be
counted as single year only.

Class 11th and 12th should have been passed from an institution which
Karnataka government recognizes.

One of the candidate’s parents should have studied in Karnataka for at least
7 years.

Subjects

Biology
Mathematics
Physics
Chemistry

Exam Pattern

There will be three papers of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology,
under KCET 2016.

Each paper will carry 60 questions.

All the questions will be Multiple Choice Type.

For each correct answer, one mark will be allocated to the candidates and no
negative marking will be done.

Applicants will have to give Kannada language exam as well. This exam will
be of 50 marks and candidates will have to score at least 12 marks to pass
this exam.
