The Commissionarate of Entrance Examinations CEE Kerala conducts Entrance Examination for admission to Post Graduate Degree in Nursing (M.Sc. Nursing) in the Nursing Colleges at Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, Trissur, Alappuzha and Kozhikode and Govt. Seats in Self Financing colleges Duration of the Course- The duration of the course shall be two academic years (24 months) from the date of commencement of the course Eligibility Criteria- Bachelors Degree in Nursing (Regular course) of Kerala, Calicut, Mahatma Gandhi, Cochin, Kannur University or any other University recognised by KUHS, Kerala, Calicut, Mahatma Gandhi University, Cochin or Kannur University Candidates who have passed the Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (Regular Course) of Kerala, Calicut, Mahatma Gandhi, Cochin, Kannur University or any other University recognizsed by KUHS ,Kerala, Calicut, Mahatma Gandhi University, Cochin or Kannur University after acquiring the General Nursing and Midwifery Course Candidates who have passed B.Sc. Degree in Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (Regular course) or equivalent exam from universities outside Kerala Age Limit The upper age limit for General Merit candidates shall be 46 years and for Service candidates 49 years Experience The experience of one year acquired by the candidates with registration from Nursing Councils outside Kerala, After successful completion of B Sc Nursing course will only be counted for experience; The one-year experience must be acquired from the state in which the registration was obtained Exam pattern- The Entrance Exam will consist of one paper of 2.5 hours (150 minutes) duration containing 200 Objective Type (Multiple Choices) Questions. There will be a single version for the question paper Each correct response will be awarded 4 (Four) marks. Negative marking will be adopted for incorrect response. One mark will be deducted for each incorrect response and no mark will be given for the question not answered |
