Can you provide me the syllabus of Uttar Pradesh Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination (UPPGMEE) on which the question paper is based? Also provide me the paper pattern of the exam?

State level Uttar Pradesh Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination (UPPGMEE) is conducted by King George’s Medical University, Lucknow for admission to post graduate programs in Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS), Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) courses. UPPGMEE Syllabus:- The syllabus for UPPGMEE will be same as prescribed for MBBS and BDS courses by the Medical/Dental Council of India respectively. MD/MS/PG Diploma courses:- •Anatomy •Physiology •Biochemistry •Pharmacology •Pathology •Microbiology •Forensic Medicine •Community Medicine •Medicine •Psychiatry •Dermatology •TB & Respiratory disease •Radiology •Surgery •Anaesthesia •Obstetrics & Gynaecology •Paediatrics •Ophthalmology •Orthopaedics •Ear, Nose and Throat MDS Course:- •Gen. Anatomy and Histology •Gen. Physiology & Biochemistry •Gen. & Dental Pharmacology & Therapeutics •Gen. Pathology & Bacteriology •Dental Metallurgy including material used in dentistry •Human Dental Anatomy and Physiology with Histology •Oral Pathology & Microbiology •Operative dentistry etc. •Orthodontics with Preventive and Child Dentistry •Oral Surgery and Dental Radiology •Periodontics and Community Dentistry •Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge Prosthesis •General Surgery •General Medicine UPPGMEE Paper Pattern:- The examination shall consist of one paper of 190 MCQ as follows:- a. 90 questions on pre and para-clinical subjects. b. 90 questions on clinical subjects. 10 questions on comprehension The number of questions from different subjects in the paper shall ordinarily, but not necessarily be as follows:- Each question in section A & B shall carry 1 mark. Each question in section C will carry 2 marks. There will be no negative marking. The syllabus will be same as prescribed for MBBS and BDS courses by the Medical/Dental Council of India respectively. |
