ASRB NET 2016 Paper Pattern:-

ASRB NET Exam will consists of one paper of 150 marks consisting of 150 objective type multiple choice. The duration of this paper is two hours. Each question carries one mark. These 150 questions will be derived frpm respected disciplines for which the candidates has opted to appear.

Following is the minimum marks required for qualifying NET examination

Category of candidate - Minimum qualifying marks

•Un-reserved(UR) (General) / OBC(Creamy layer) - 50%.
•OBC(Non-Creamy layer) - 45%.
•SC / ST/ Physically Challenged(PC) Person - 40%.

Negative mark:1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer in the NET examination.

The question papers for the exam will be set in both English and Hindi. The answers are to be indicated in OMR sheet with blank ball point pen only. The reason being that no other color pen response is read by the scanner. All others fields in the OMR sheet like name, category,discipline, center, gender etc must be written with black ball point pen only
