Lucknow University Admission will be done on the basis of entrance test or merit list. It provides admission into various undergraduate & postgraduate programmes in the field science, commerce, arts, law, etc.

The admission to UG courses will be based on entrance exam & admission to PG courses will be based on the merit list/entrance test.

Eligibility Criteria

BCA
Pass Intermediate or equivalent examination & secure at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST category).

LLB (Integrated)
Pass Intermediate or equivalent examination & score at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category).

B.Sc (Mathematics Group)
Pass Intermediate or equivalent examination with Mathematics group & secure minimum 40% marks (33% for reserved category).

B.Sc (Biology Group)
Pass Intermediate or equivalent examination with Biology group & obtain minimum 40% marks (33% for reserved category).

B.Com
Pass Intermediate or equivalent examination with commerce & score at least 40% marks (33% for reserved category).

BA/BA (Hons.)
Pass Intermediate or equivalent examination & obtain at least 40% marks (33% for reserved category).

Exam Pattern

No. of Questions: The question paper will consist of 100 multiple choice questions

Duration: The duration of the exam will be 1 hour 30 minutes.

Marking Scheme: For the correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded to the candidates

Negative Marking: One mark will be deducted for incorrect response.
