Lal Bahadur Shastri Hall of Residence LBS Hall is one of the male students hall of residence, mainly for undergraduate freshers at Indian Institute of Technology IIT Kharagpur.

Infrastructure-

The five floored (G+4) building of the hall is divided into four blocks - A, B, C and D, each of them fully connected through AA, AB, BC, CD and DD blocks respectively.

It has a separate two floor unit building attached to the southern side of building which provides space for two food messes.

Music Room-

The music room is equipped with all the required and most played music instruments with the greatest quality product. It's current location is C-Block ground floor.

Sports-

The hall is fully equipped with space and equipment requirements for several sports activities.
It has an upcoming badminton court, two table tennis tables, football ground, cricket pitch for net practice, and a volleyball court.
There is a gym located at the ground floor of B Block.

Shops & Eateries-

There is a Nescafe shop just beside the main gate where you can get tea, coffee & fast food like burger, patties.
It opens in evening during 6 pm and remains open till 4 am in the morning.
A juice stall also operates jointly and remains open from 10 am in the morning till evening and reopens in night.
Besides, a small milk stall opens from 7.30 pm to 2 am on the second floor A-wing and first floor of C wing.

There's a xerox shop with all the supporting utilities in the ground floor of B-wing.

A laundry service is also present in the ground floor of C-wing.

Common room-

There is Common Room in the A block of the hall which houses a Sony TV to provide entertainment.

Event, workshops and information seminars are usually conducted here.
