Mahatma Gandhi University was established on 2 October 1983 in Kottayam district of Kerala, India.

This University has been approved by UGC and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council of India.

M.Phil in Computer Science
Duration: 2 Semesters (One year)
Intake: 06 (Six)

Eligibility Criteria

All Candidates who possess the approved minimum qualification are eligible to apply. Post Graduation (M.Sc/MCA/MS/M.Tech/ME) in Computer Science/Computer Application with not less than 55% marks


Selection Process

For 50% seats are reserved for teacher candidates and the remaining 50% for open/reservation quota.

Selection is based on the marks obtained in the Qualifying Examination, Entrance test and Interview in a proportion of 50: 40:10


Weightage of Marks

Weightage of marks for proficiency in Sports/Games/NCC/NSS etc. and bonus marks for Ex-servicemen applicants and widows and children of Jawans/ Exservicemen will be given as per the existing rules of admission

Entrance Exam

Entrance test is of 90 minutes duration (Total 80 marks – 40 marks for objective type questions and 40 marks for descriptive type questions) based on PG level Computer Science/Computer Application syllabus
