The M. Sc. Biotechnology program offered by University of Jammu is as follows:

M. Sc. Biotechnology : 10 + 3 (NRI/Industry sponsored)

Eligibility:
One who possesses a Bachelor's Degree in any Science discipline, namely, B. Sc, B.Sc. Agriculture, B. Pharm., B.V.Sc., B.D.S., M.B.B.S., B.Sc. (Hons), etc. is eligible for admission

Admission is made through Combined Entrance Examination Biotechnology (CEEB) conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, against all the sanctioned 10 seats, 2 being reserved for the SC/ST/PH categories.

Out of these, 5 seats are to be filled as per University of Jammu Statutes in order of merit from among those who have qualified the CEEB.

All the 10 students selected for the course are provided studentship for 2 years @ Rs. 800.00 per month.
