Candidates must pay the application fee online. They are also required to upload specified documents along with the application form for the IIT Kanpur M. Tech admissions.

IIT Kanpur M. Tech 2017 Eligibility Criteria

• M. Tech. (Engineering): B. Tech./BE./M. Sc.(Engg.) degree in the respective or allied area is a must.

• M. Tech. in Biological Sciences and Bio-engineering: Those with bachelor’s degree in pharmacy/medicine with marks/CPI not below the specified minimum may also be considered.

• M. Tech. (Engineering Geosciences): Candidates must have passed M.Sc. degree in Earth Science or allied streams or B. Tech/B.E. degree in Civil/Geosciences Engineering with a valid GATE score.

• M.B.B.S. degree holders and engineering graduates from IITs with a minimum CPI of 8.0 and above need not appear for GATE.
