According to me for Admission in a reputed colleges you may appear in the GATE Examination . As the GATE is consider to be the Entrance test for the M.tech course . for your knowledge here I am sharing with you the some information about the GATE Examination . GATE is conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE Eligibility criteria : The following are eligible to take GATE Bachelor’s degree holders in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture (4 years after 10+2/ Post-B.Sc./ Post-Diploma) and those who are in the final year of such programs. Master’s degree holders in any branch of Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Applications or equivalent and those who are in the final year of such programs. equivalent to B.E./B.Tech. paper pattern : Pattern of Question Papers: in all the papers, there will be a total of 65 questions carrying 100 marks, out of which 10 questions carrying a total of 15 marks are in General Aptitude (GA) Marking scheme: For 1 mark multiple‐choice questions, 1/3 marks will be deducted for a wrong answer. Likewise, for 2mark multiple‐choice questions, 2/3 marks will be deducted for a wrong answer. There is NO negative marking for numerical answer type questions |
